Because she wasn't growing up fast enough. She is now standing and cruising as well as hamming it up for the camera.

*Ping*

Boston has a sweet Radio Flyer Trike. We got it on Craigslist and he loves it. It is the basic trike that has the yellow bucket on the back. Boston loves to play in the back yard and ride it. And by ride I mean sit on it, pat the handles and occasionally push it around with his feet on the ground. There is no forward motion by peddling, there is no peddle usage at all and if anyone has any ideas at all on how I am supposed to teach him how to peddle I'm all ears. So far all my efforts have been in vain.

When we bought the trike I was really excited, I love all things Radio Flyer. I am dying for a Radio Flyer wagon. I thought there could be nothing better than a Radio Flyer trike. So imagine my surprise when Andy brought it home and I discovered the most amazing extra ever that you could possibly hope for on any trike or bike of any kind. This trike came with accessories and not just any accessory, only the very best accessory you could want. The trike came with a bell.

I love bells. They scream white picket fences and old fashioned hospitality. It sends me into a vision of little boys with freckles and rolled up jeans and converse shoes and baseball cards in the spokes. Bells are the sound of summer.

Boston loves the bell as well. He spends more time dinging the bell than riding the trike. Lucky for everyone the bell makes the sweetest little ping. It is light and clear and crisp. Every stinking time I hear it I can't help but smile. I love that little ping. It makes me happy. It sprinkles my day with sunshine.

I desperately want a bike. An old beach cruiser with a basket and my very own bell. One that makes a perfect ping just like Boston's. I'll admit it, I'm extremely jealous of Boston's bell. I want one of my very own. I love the thought of sailing through the park, baby trailer in tow and ringing my own bike bell. I just love the sounds of summer.

And The Winner Is........

This is Chad aka Chadwicker Basket. An awesome friend and an even better artist. I own 2 original paintings by him. Paintings so gorgeous I decorated an entire room around them.

Right now he is giving away GIVING away a painting to a random winner. While I really really want to win, everybody should have a chance at his sweet landscape. And if you don't win at least you will get a link to his store. Check him out HERE!

Good luck!

Death Becomes Her

So I realize my blog has died as so many of you have repeatedly told me and I apologize. Between working everyday and doing the family thing and keeping up on the paid blog I have just lost all ambition. So here is a quick picture update on us.

I know I have no make up on. Try not to be afraid. We were doing self portraits

so cute
Boston singing and dancing
such a cute face
posing for mama
such a stud, notice the bruise on his forehead
trying to get the skinch face
this one is better
the picture just doesn't do it justice
just so cute
almost caught a skinch nose
silly face
peek-a-boo mama
check out the eyes
what mama?
I actually snapped this one before the above picture. Boston contemplating the universe
chillaxin
kisses

My babies are growing out of control. They are so cute and doing so much. We are so busy I can't keep up anymore. I promise to try and do better for any of the few readers I even have left.
